Who am I?
I wear a few professional hats or professional licenses in areas such as: Integrative Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, member of College of Psychologists, Nutrition & Diet, Life & Career Coaching, Personal Development Counselling and Training. In addition to my qualifications, I have completed a Master’s dissertation in Neuroscience.
My purpose is to leverage my human qualities, life experience, and knowledge to assist and empower you on your journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I aim to guide you to manifest and realize the desired changes in your live by customizing interventions that align with your individual needs, personality, circumstances, and goals. I embrace a holistic approach to life, seeking equilibrium among the realms of the mind, body, and spirit.
My life philosophy is based on the concept of “equilibrium” as the key to our well-being. We all carry within us both our darker and brighter sides, and it's our inclination as human beings to swing like a pendulum from one extreme to the other, which leads to dysfunctionalities. By discovering and maintaining our own unique equilibrium, as the sweet spot where we really feel good, we not only gain the freedom to explore the full range of our nature, occasionally venturing to the edges, but we always have a stable core to return to.
What do I bring in our relationship?
I’ve been a client myself, experiencing the therapeutic process, which is why, in our relationship I can offer a “little something” called love, empathy, compassion, understanding and support. I understand the courage it takes to expose vulnerability in a therapeutic alliance, like peeling the onion, easily, layer by layer, or defense by defense until getting to the core and be able to heal. I also bring in our relationship professionalism, authenticity, curiosity, responsibility, optimism, integrity, transparency, client centered approach and a touch of humor, which I think it’s very important. Plus, I got this from corporations – I lead by example. This doesn’t mean that I am a superhero with a perfect life, cape flowing in the wind. Not at all. Leading by example doesn’t mean that I am perfect, I don’t have struggles, I have all the answers or walk on water; it means that I practice what I preach.
In addition to the emotional aspect mentioned above, I bring into our relationship my extended personal life experiences (both positive and challenging ones) and a collection of academic achievements, years of study, and research.
TESTIMONIALS
What do the clients say about me?
I deeply care about my clients. Our sessions are transformative, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of their lives, inspiring authenticity and reason why I am here.
Instead of blowing my own professional trumpet, I think it’s way more appropriate to let my clients do the talking about their adventures with me:
